That’s because the Workday, a company that offers solutions for HR and finance companies, is already developing a system that can revolutionize the way companies manage their employees. It can detect the most notable candidates for a vacancy, predict which departments will exceed the budget and to make a guess about the next employee will resign.
According to the company, the software-based business Cloud also scours profiles on social networks and other databases to organize people by type of occupation, helping recruiters seeking professionals on a broader base.
The technology can also be used for companies may try to retain their best talent before they resign, knowing even if they prefer a salary increase or promotion charge.
But none of this is as easy as suggesting a new movie on Netflix or content in feeds on Facebook. This is a much more complex job.
The Workday claims to have researched more than 1 billion profiles and job ads to list the people who could be recruited for more than one type of job. A nurse’s work, for example, can be described in over 600 different ways. The company has classified some 20 occupations that way, and claims to have identified more than 70 positions, helping recruiters to have more options for potential candidates.
The co-founder and CEO of Workday, Aneel Bhusri also said in an interview for the New York Times that the company will focus on how their customers are using the product to then improve it as needed.
Apparently, there is a strong adherence of companies to create tools accordingly to improve its performance internally, and not only to provide services to their customers.
Other software companies have also are developing solutions based on the analysis of internal and external data like Salesforce, which announced a new tool for analyzing big data management system for your sales.
