The multinational engineering and electronics Bosch adopted a Portuguese software that allows you to read in the same device, two of the most important identification and coding technologies such as the code bars and the RFID code.
root Developed by Altronix, the application MOBILIX RFIDWedge is already installed at Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal, SA in Braga, and will now be implemented in the company’s subsidiaries in Malaysia.
With this tool it was possible to increase the productivity of the stock process management activities and assets of the Bosch Braga, since users can read both identification technologies – bar code and RFID, without to switch between device or software.
“The MOBILIX RFIDWedge is a unique solution in the world, optimized for Motorola terminals with integrated RFID reader.” According to Fonseca, executive director of Altronix, “the synergy created combines the advantages of both technologies in a simple but unique application. This solution allows the reading of RFID tags simultaneously with DataWedge, it is possible to read barcodes and RFID codes at the same time. “
Recently, Altronix implemented a project in the Clover facilities in Germany. “This project came to a complete refurbishment of the logistics department, incoming and outgoing goods as well as management of warehouse / stock, automated and directly integrated with the server through a mobile application on hardware provided by Altronix” Fonseca told to Modern Logistics. The choice of hardware went through the installation of the Motorola MC92 and MC45 with long range.
