CeBIT will have a space dedicated to software developers from its edition of 2015. It will be the first exhibition and event area specifically focused on aspects related to systems engineering in the fair held in Hannover (Germany), between 16 and March 20.
The initiative, called Developer World, will present “a wide range of exhibits, networking events and thematic conferences that specifically target software developers,” says the event’s organizers.
The movement emphasizes the role of software as one of the most intense vectors of innovation in IT. “The software is changing the world (…) and if you want to help shape this change and take advantage of it, you need to be intimately involved with software technologies”, he says.
The space consists of a number of different areas of thematic exhibition gathered around a central stage show. Each area is dedicated to a specific topic such as Java, .Net, native platforms, software architecture, quality assurance, and modern programming for web and mobile.
All views present both shows companies as presentation areas where international experts and opinion leaders will discuss issues that can change the software landscape both in the short and the long run.
By grouping the topic in a specific space, and central position in the exhibition hall (Hall11), CeBIT expects center the discussion on the subject. “Thus, the Exhibitors and visitors will be sure that they can make all kinds of connections which need to make your business move forward,” he says.
The expectation of the organization is that the space attracts and brings together engineering companies and systems development, software developers and web, as well as architects, analysts and testers. The views and thematic presentations will be supported by a support program hackathons and evening events.
