On April 16 we have another edition of the traditional Latin American Free Software Installation Festival (FLISoL), which will take place simultaneously in seven cities in the state: Canoas, Novo Hamburgo, Pelotas, Porto Alegre, Santiago, Santa Cruz and San Borja!

And on April 23, we will have the first event Rio Grande Free Software Users Group of South Tchelinux the year for the first time in the city of Lajeado, in partnership with Univates! Following the group’s tradition, the event is non-profit and registration is free, but participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food 2kg (except salt) that will be donated to charity.

will be several workshops, lectures and panels within the Linux and Free Software topics, including the workshop with “Quick review for Linux Essentials Certification”, given by Cesar Brod, regional development director of the Linux Professional Institute (LPI).
