Users found that Lenovo install hidden software in the BIOS of your computers, impossible to eliminate.

Some users explained in forums Ars Technica site, they discovered a program in Lenovo brand notebooks in which they had just installed a clean copy of Windows 7 or 8 on a new hard disk, where back , even after being deleted, and the system has restarted. This software, known as Lenovo Service Engine (LSE) , is in the BIOS of computers, and can replace the boot files Windows and automatically reactivate when you reinstall the operating system.
This program is both to improve the operation of the equipment, and to send information about it to the company; the problem is that this information is not protected and can be stolen by hackers.
Lenovo recognized what happened and has released an update to remove it, but users are not sure that this patch eliminate real and permanently, any hidden software, installed by the company.
