Researchers develop software to manage the traffic … – Look Digital

In partnership with NASA researchers at the University of Nevada, USA, created a software dedicated to the monitoring of drones. The program aims to manage traffic flow of unmanned aircraft, helicopters, airplanes and gliders.

The software would be able to establish a connection between drones and other aircraft, in order to avoid possible accidents. Richard Kelley, chief researcher of the group, said the software will facilitate the detection of other airplanes around. The first test flights will take place soon.

The project follows a market trend. Although the flight of drones is banned in many countries, some industries already promote tests with unmanned aircraft for various purposes.
