Blackberry software updates and offers access to Android applications -Verdade Online

The BlackBerry launched a major software update on Thursday, allowing users of all its BlackBerry 10 devices set as Z10, Z30 and Q10 can access Android applications and a host of other features.

The company said the BlackBerry 10 OS 10.3.1 gives users the ability to access both the BlackBerry World app store like Amazon Appstore, which provides access to a number of previously unavailable Android applications on the BlackBerry platform.

In addition, the Blackberry said the new software will allow users to access your new BlackBerry Blend feature that impressed many when it was introduced last year. The feature allows users to get the Blend message notifications, read and respond to emails and personal work, send text messages and other, besides having access to files, calendars, contacts and other media, on any device the person is using.

The software runs on different operating systems, including Mac OS from Apple, Microsoft’s Windows and Android tablets, Google.

The update software will also present a new BlackBerry Assistant, a digital assistant that can be used with voice command or text to help users manage emails, contacts, calendar and other applications. It competes with Apple’s Siri and S Voice of Samsung.
