IFS , a global provider of business management software, announces that it has signed an agreement to purchase the VisionWaves , operational intelligence software maker. The acquisition, which was not disclosed, will be paid in cash.
The VisionWaves was founded in 2000 and is based in Zeist, the Netherlands, with a sales office in the United States. The company, which has over 30 clients such as Chilean Air Force, Dodsal, Lumina Mining, Dutch MoD and National Police, has 30 employees and generated revenue of 4.9 million euros and an EBITDA margin of 17% (the latter 12 months to May 2015 are unaudited).
The VisionWaves has the ability to map, monitor and manage business processes end to end across multiple business units, information sources and applications.
According to the CEO of IFS Alastair Sorbie, the company’s acquisition will enable customers to become agile and increase their ability to carry out their strategies. The executive says that VisionWaves contribute strongly to this, and in addition, will supplement the partner ecosystem strategy of IFS.
