The Department of the Environment is expected to launch in late August a software (computer program) that will help the body to relieve 40000 environmental licensing processes. Information is the secretary Ziza Carvalho. He said the agency receives 15,000 cases a year.
“The licenses will only unlock from August when we launch the software. 50% of the licenses will be made via online. This will help the vent 40 thousand cases we have in stock, “said the manager.
According to the secretary, the situation is even more serious, since the Semar has only 19 environmental inspectors. “Demand is very high for only 19 auditors,” Ziza he said.
The auditors even came to cross their arms earlier this month in protest non-implementation of the new Plan for Jobs and Salaries category determined by Law 6556 of July 7, 2014.
