If the future of cars is the capability to conduct themselves without human interaction – there are those who disagree with this idea – then the Tesla with a single software update just released their vehicles in that direction. All customers who have a Model S or the latest Model X will gain autonomous driving features.
The cars do not drive all alone, just won some autopilot features . Vehicles can drive on the highway, exchange range and also can adapt the speed in view of the surrounding road traffic.
This mode ‘autopilot’ was created so that drivers can have more confidence in their vehicles while traveling, but the company’s CEO, Elon Musk, also warned of the fact that should not be overused.
