AMD has made available for download this week AMD Radeon Software Crimson v16.1.1, the latest version of substitute Catalyst video driver package.
The AMD Radeon Software Crimson brings a totally different interface Catalyst. The new control panel called Radeon Settings is faster and more intuitive.
In addition, AMD said the new software is based on QT framework and not in .NET as the Catalyst.
The Radeon Settings panel can detect the installed games and thus allow the user to set options such as antialiasing, tessellation, v-sync and even set different overclocking profiles for each game.
The recommended options games will be available separately through the App Gaming Evolved, which is supported by third parties
The features of the Radeon Settings Panel are grouped into five categories:. Gaming , Video , Display , Eyefinity and System .

Available for download here , the AMD Radeon Software Crimson v16.1.1 brings fixes for multiple bugs both in software as in games. Some of these bugs affect games like Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and Star Wars. Battlefront
The new version also improves game performance Rise of the Tomb Raider and brings new profiles for use in CrossFire the aforementioned Rise of the Tomb Raider and Fallout 4.
