Critical Software’s technology on board the first Sentinel-3 satellite – Magazine BIT Computer for everyone.

The Sentinel-3A satellite will be released next Tuesday, February 16, and will aboard a rocket Russian Rockot from the cosmodrome of Plesetsk, in the Russia . The operations of the two Sentinel-3 satellites will have a duration of 7 years and will be placed in a sun synchronous orbit at 815 kilometers from the earth’s surface. Each satellite weighs about 1150 kilograms and is 3.7 meters long. Critical Software was one of the companies that won a technology development contest for these satélites.
