Microsoft announced on Thursday (19), opening up the code of your call software build MSBuild engine. The data were published by the company on GitHub.
MSBuild helps to automate the programming, tests and creating the package the application. It is present in the integrated development environment (IDE) from Microsoft, Visual Studio.
The code released on GitHub is similar to that used by the company in the latest version of its IDE, despite some differences that will be reduced with time. Soon, MSBuild versions for Mac and Linux will be available from Microsoft.
With the msbuild.exe, you can “orchestrate and build products in environments where Visual Studio is not installed.”
