Fla acquires software and should profit from former player transfers – UOL

The Flamengo took an important step to try to profit from old contracts by FIFA solidarity mechanism. The club purchased the software developed by a Brazilian company to catalog athletes who have gone through Gávea in the past decade, monitor international transfers and apply the percentage to FIFA.

The solidarity mechanism is compensation established by entity Maximum football aiming to restore the training clubs. According to the Transfer Regulation, a professional moves during the course of his contract, 5% of the amount shall be deducted by his new club to all those involved in the training and education over the 12th and 23rd birthdays.

The process was coordinated by the Flemish legal department, under the command of vice president Flávio Willeman. The system should be put into operation in the first quarter of 2016 and can yield revenues that were not provided.

“It took six months of negotiations for the development and presentation of the program. We believe it is a fundamental process. We packed a partner who will register our players so interconnected to the athletes transfer system worldwide. We will know how occur the negotiation of a player who has spent even a few months at Flamengo, “Willeman said.

The Crimson-black does not calculate profits possible, but know that you can raise a few million with the success of the program. Including, the club is considered a pioneer in the process of facilitating the mapping of transfers.

“I think until not’ll get 100% of the athletes, but we work with at least 90%. It can represent a huge financial gain. No use talking on 4, 5 or 6 million. The amount depends on the history and the time in which the athlete was formed. We can not sell false illusions. The company just chose Flamengo to do the work and think you can design it for all the country. We know we are the first club to take this kind of initiative, “concluded Flavio Willeman.
