The Department of Human Rights (SDH) announced on Monday (15) al switch to a tool that maps instances of hate crimes on the Internet. According to the disclosed information, the software collects data and identifies networks uqe come together to make offenses to groups of people.
The tool will be the pillar for the start of activities of the Working Group on Hate Networking on the Internet, which was created in November to monitor crimes against human rights on social networks.
“ We have followed and been concerned about the growth of these hate crimes, which are encouraged and disclosed in Internet. Already more than time for us to create mechanisms to track and remove it from the network , “said the Minister of SDH, Ideli Salvatti, the Agency Brazil.
She cites a case a woman who was in May, where she was beaten to death by residents of Guaruja, Sao Paulo, after a false rumor that she practiced black magic rituals with children. The rumor was completely false and the woman ended up suffering the consequences of an alleged crime he never committed.
The software installation meeting took place yesterday and, based on the information already collected by it, the complaints will be forwarded to Public Prosecution or Federal Police .
Three cases are now being analyzed and one of them refers to the last episode played by deputies Maria do Rosário ( PT-RS) and Jair Bolsonaro (PP-RJ), when the lawmaker said not only rape Mrs because she “ not deserve .”
