Microsoft creates software that converts Android devices in Windows – Digital Look

Microsoft introduced an interesting new information to the confirmation of the deadline for release of Windows 10. The company develops new software that effectively erases the user’s mobile phone Android and install your own operating system.

There are very specific details of the plan, but the site TechCrunch claims to have received information from people familiar with the matter that the software, in fact, completely replaces the Android by Windows. It is not simply a different skin, or the exchange of Google services by Microsoft.

Custom ROMs are common for those who follow harder the Android ecosystem. Microsoft wants to take this opportunity to offer this alternative to the user. Instead of deleting the mobile operating system to install CyanogenMod, for example, why not give a chance to the Windows 10?

Also it is not dual-boot, which would be a possibility, giving the user the opportunity to choose whether to run Windows or Android. The idea is to actually replace the Google software.

The company begins with the Chinese market, where there is a very large opening for ROMs, as by government restrictions, Google Play itself may not work. There, Microsoft contacted the Xiaomi Chinese, testing the possibility with the most users “hardcore”.

Microsoft plans to announce the broad availability of novelty soon, but the first step is to Xiaomi, taking advantage the community engaged around the Chinese, which also releases weekly software updates, making it the ideal audience for a test like that.
