IBM is testing the software with more like the human brain – TeK.sapo

Over the past few years Numenta company and its Artificial Intelligence software were over the media radar, but the interest of IBM in the project has recalled outbreaks. And according to the trade publication of MIT, the technology is to continue to develop.

Winfried Wilcke, the man who is leading the team of one hundred IBM researchers are testing the software, considers that the Numenta tool is one that is closest to the mode of functioning of the human brain.

And this is the great interest of technology. The algorithms Numenta can do a faster link between information than any other software that exists, that according to the opinion of the investigator.

And Winfried Wilcke for, is the program that is closer to the “biological reality” than any other. IBM’s initiative was designated Cortical Learning Center and is to continue to develop over the coming years.

Now the creator of Numenta, Jeff Hawkins, believes that although the goal not replicate 100% the way the brain works, is in the brain that is the secret to creating the best processing algorithms image and that can be applied to robotics.

IBM intends to connect multiple chips with each other and share processing between the different components. Currently the technology is already using the algorithm to discover flaws and signs of faults that occur in machines.
