CIn UFPE opens registration for the class residence in Software – NE10

The Informatics Center (CIn-UFPE) has partnered with Motorola for its new class residence in Sofware. Registration opens on 03 December and close on January 3, 2016 through the link.

Students graduating (final year) or graduates in higher education courses in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering and related fields, universities from all over Brazil recognized by MEC, may participate in the selection process. The 30 selected students will receive a monthly stipend of R $ 1,930 for exclusive dedication to the course.

“The program aims to encourage the development of human resources with a high degree of expertise in embedded software testing and applications in mobile computing, with the incentives and benefits in Information Technology Law. The focus of activity of this class will be the planning, design and implementation of various types of tests, conducted in mobile applications, “says the release of the text of residence.

The program provides training in the area of ​​software engineering, with an emphasis on software testing. Graduates of the course students will receive a certificate issued by UFPE. The course includes subjects covering basic and advanced concepts of software engineering, with an emphasis on software testing. The acquired knowledge will be experienced at the same time in the laboratory, through training activities.

The selection will take place in two phases. The first will make a pre-selection of 50 students among those registered on the basis of curriculum analysis and transcripts. The list of pre-selected will be available on 06 January 2016. In the second phase, applicants will be invited to attend at the premises of CIN / Motorola Agreement, on January 11, 2016, when it will be presented in details, format and operation of the course and the internship. After the presentations will apply a test on basic programming concepts, including knowledge in variable declarations, assignments, if-then-else, loops (while) and vector manipulation (arrays) of one dimension. Then make two essays, one in Portuguese and one in English. Finally, will undergo a psychological evaluation.
