Portuguese Critical Software and ISQ win contracts for more … – publico

                 
                 

 
 

In a statement, Critical Software, software solutions development company, and the ISQ, a private entity that provides inspection, testing, engineering and technical consulting, announce the signing of contracts with the European Southern Observatory (ESO ), “inserted in the construction of what will be the most sophisticated and powerful optical telescope in the world – the ‘European Extremely Large Telescope’ (E-ELT).”

This announcement is made in conjunction with the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), which represents Portugal at ESO’s board.

The contract now signed by the ISQ and the Critical Software last for three years with extension option up to nine ten years, respectively, corresponding to a cumulative amount of around EUR 1.5 million.

Since the proposal of ISQ was the best in five submitted by similar organizations from Germany and Spain.
