Garmin releases software update for watches – PCGuia

The Garmin released a software update to the Forerunner 920XT and fenix 3, now available for download.

So, the two devices will have more technology to track workouts of runners. The software makes more analytical capabilities, so users are able to have more control of the data, before, during and after exercise.

Among the new features is the ability to measure the distance of the last of a runner in real time balancing of contact with the ground, a function which measures the symmetry of the runner contact with the ground, to correct imbalances and prevent injury. The new software also allows measuring the vertical ratio used to indicate the efficiency of a hallway.

The update also enables control of cardio data such as heart rate.
