Fisco spend seven million in software – TVI24

The Government authorized the Treasury to spend up to 6,998,683.03 euros plus VAT “licensing and maintenance” software for the next three years.

The resolution of the Cabinet was published Tuesday in the Official Gazette.

“The Tax Authority needs to proceed with the acquisition of services for licensing and Microsoft or equivalent software maintenance for a period of 36 months, between the years 2015-2017.”

The Government justifies the authorization to the competence of the AT to “develop and manage the infrastructure, equipment and information technology” needed to “provide support, clarification and quality services to taxpayers.”

The resolution states that it is up to Finance Minister Maria Luís Albuquerque, carry out this spending.
