The Volkswagen is studying the exchange of cars with emissions handler software by new vehicles. This is the worst scenario that should appear in the German group action plan.

The 24-hour deadline for delivery of the measures, the Wolfsburg brand also is considering repair costs, which may vary between 20 and 10 thousand euros per car, indicated sources close to the process told Bloomberg.

Repairs to the 11 million vehicles caught by Dieselgate worldwide may also change from country to country.

The detailed plan should also include various types of repairs . In larger diesel engines of two liters, an AdBlue tank can be installed.

This device, already installed in some of the new vehicles of the Volkswagen, contributes to reducing emissions of these cars, the resort an additive (AdBlue), created in the urea-based and demineralized water. From the mixing with the combustion gases, nitrogen oxide (NOx) is converted into water and nitrogen, reducing emissions of harmful gases.

In smaller engines already include collection system nitrogen oxide, the solution is technically more complicated and may require the installation of larger catalysts.
