The Court of Mato Grosso judged regulate the procedure for acquisition of Microsoft software license agreement held by the State Data Processing Center of Mato Grosso (Cepromat ). In this sense, the hiring process was in accordance with the licensing program which the company used a methodology called the “Microsoft Government Eligibility Definition,” which lets you frame given client up to four price levels (A, B, C, D), with progressive discounts from the first to the last level, as commercial interest involved.

The rapporteur of the case, counselor Ricardo Seriously, accepted the defense’s arguments and dismissed the representation. “The acquisition of educational programs for area occurred through entities owned able to obtain deeper discounts, according to the ‘eligibility’ of Microsoft enterprise policy, meeting the legal requirements,” he said. The vote of the rapporteur was judged unanimously.
