Aveiro creates software that opens the door to new antiviral therapies … – Daily News – Lisbon

The software took a number of months to develop, but the result is an innovative method of diagnosis, because in a few hours allows to identify the genetic signature of any pathogen – to the classification of the disease and move for a therapy. The new method of computer analysis was created by researchers from the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (IEETA) and the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics (DETI), the University of Aveiro, which began to apply –lo the Ebola virus.
