While they are waiting to know whether or not Greece will stay in the euro, many Internet users may search the internet the theme ‘Grexit’ and eventually come face to face with a startup that has nothing to do with the Greek crisis.

This software company received a 20% traffic increase in recent weeks. This is because the term Grexit is indexed in Google as a matter related to the Greek crisis.

“The irrelevant traffic is destroying our statistics,” said co-founder of the company, Nitesh Nandy, cited by Quartz. The team is therefore considering changing the name of startup launched in 2011.

The name was intended to be a joint demonstrative pronoun ‘it’, in English ‘it’ with the Latin word ‘Grex’ which means ‘flock’. The team wanted the name to show that the company served to bring people together through e-mail.
