Manchester City calls German software to better manage the club … – Mad Money

British Club promotes greater cost efficiency and profitability of players, whether sporting or financial

A covered lawn as the soccer stadiums and state of the art equipment have been the stage chosen by Manchester City for the presentation of the new partnership that promises to transform the English football (and beyond).

The citizens, as they are known, announced a partnership with the German company SAP to develop management software for the British team.

We are in the City Football Academy, complex opened in late 2014 after 150 million (approximately EUR 210 million) investment. There are 16 fields and means installed in a former industrial space, separated by a bridge from the main stadium of the British team.

The new platform aims to promote the management, which starts on the pitch, culminating in the administration of the club, managed by company (City Foot-ball Group) responsible for three teams in three countries: the US, Japan and Australia. To field a platform that runs on cloud was created. You can see, for example, the entire history of a particular player, from the passes made by starting the power of shots and where they are made. And this is only for the player.

The medical team has access to more elements. Know the history of injuries, treatments applied, the list of drugs, and can automatically update the recovery plan or workout. You can also show pictures of the exercises. Technology already used in other sports such as NBA, and they begin to enter the king sport, recalled Franck Cohen, president of SAP to Europe.
