Cybercriminals exploit loopholes in software – IT Forum 365 – 365 IT Forum

The market has registered growth exploits , that take advantage of software vulnerabilities in the scenario of digital threats. Second report from the F-Secure Labs, such threats accounted for 40% of the major attacks during the second half of 2014.

The Angler exploit kit, which provides the criminals a simple set of software tools to help them create malware campaigns, was identified as the biggest digital threat in North America in the most recent report of threats F-Secure, and was included in the five major threats in Europe and Oceania.

The F-Secure points out that one way for people to defend themselves from exploits is to make sure that the software is always updated to address the vulnerabilities that expose computers to attacks based on exploits. Do not keep the updated software is a security risk that many people incur without realizing what motivates criminals to continue using this strategy to attack.
