G1 – Latin American Free Software Conference opens term … – Globo.com

The 12th Latin American Conference of Free Software (Latinoware 2015) is receiving applications for the event to be held between 14 and 16 October at the Itaipu Technological Park in Foz do Iguaçu, in western Paraná. The organization estimates receive about 4000 people, including students, professionals and experts in the field.

Entries must be made by internet and until August 10 will cost R $ 100. From August 11 to September 25, the value is R $ 120.00 and, from September 26 to October 4, to R $ 140.00. Ended the deadline, registrations will only be accepted on the day of the event.

Held since 2004, Latinoware is currently one of the biggest events in the world of free software. The event is organized by Itaipu Binacional, Itaipu Technological Park Foundation, the Paraná IT Company (Celepar) and the Federal Data Processing Service (Serpro).
