Razer purchase the software Ouya • Eurogamer.pt – Eurogamer.pt

The Razer just announced that bought all the software content of Ouya, the Android micro console that pioneered in its kind. The contents include the catalog of games and its online sales platform. Much of the Ouya team also jumped to the side of Razer as part of the deal, with the exception of Julie Uhrman, founder and CEO of Ouya.

The Razer’s plan is to continue in the footsteps of Ouya, but with its own Android console, the Forge TV. Essentially, what the Razer did was absorb all that was the Ouya with the exception of hardware.
