F3M creates ‘scouting’ software for football clubs – Economic

The Portuguese technological F3M decided to reposition its software ‘Talent Spy’, players of observation tool (activity internationally known as scouting), to meet the needs of small, medium and large clubs, scouts and other individual sports agents. This investment aims to make the F3M “a major global player in the software area to scouting within three years,” said the Economic Pedro Fraga, CEO of Braga company.

The ‘new’ Talent Spy ‘, which has now entered the market after a year of the initial marketing platform, is twofold: Watching players and production / marketing of information on players, as a report of games and behavior of the players. As said Pedro Fraga, “when we went to the market in 2014, had the goal of providing a player observation tool for smaller clubs,” but “we were faced with the interest of clubs and international actors, it became clear to us the ‘Talent Spy’ could have a completely different scope than anticipated. “

The software F3M, which entailed an initial investment of 300,000 euros, is already in Portuguese clubs such as Sporting and Benfica, futsal department at Estoril Praia Football, Proeleven or Team of Future. Internationally, the Sport Club Internacional of Porto Alegre, in Brazil, or the Newell’s Old Boys of Argentina.
