The Association of Open Source Software Portuguese companies, joins the MOSS, a Master of open source software ISCTE, to give voice to the parties and see debated the ideas and projects of each of the political parties in parliament about free software.
The event, which has free admission, is to put ICT and open source technologies in the growth and development strategy of the country, takes the ESOP.
“Information and communication technologies in particular open technologies and standards can play a key role in the modernization of public services, social innovation and development of the Portuguese economy,” argues the association.
The session POS2020 public discussion – Portugal Open Source 2020 is scheduled for September 16 at 17 am at the ISCTE in Lisbon. The inscription, that although the event is free access is mandatory, must be made by email.
The ESOP launched in March this year POS2020, an initiative created in order to gather ideas for the development of a strategic plan for the use of open technologies and standards such as the engine of growth and economic development. Looking for input from civil society, POS2020 wants to gather measures to implement in the next four years.
