Critical Software reaches 26 million – Computerworld Portugal

The company grew 12% driven by international business and looking for human resources

Critical Software invoiced 26 million euros in 2015 its highest turnover ever. The company recorded a growth of 12% of its annual turnover, generating 2.5 million pre-tax profit (EBT) plus 178% than in 2014.

EBITDA was close to four million. Among the factors for the solid 2015 performance is the growth in European Union countries and the United States of America, as well as the positive developments in areas such as energy, financial services, telecommunications and space, the statement said.

“the globalization of our culture and the way we have structured our engineering has brought significant gains to our operational efficiency and effectiveness we respond to leading companies in different parts of the world with which we are or want to work. We are now well prepared to continue a strong growth path, as in 2016, “said Gonçalo Quadros, CEO of Critical Software.

The executive says the company is looking for human resources, but does not specify how many. The organization reveals yet have reached the level 5, the highest in CMMI, software engineering certification that measures the maturity of organizational processes and performance.

Classification “attests to the organization’s ability to continuously improve, based on a quantitative monitoring and evaluation of their performance. ” The company is part of group of 810 organizations and even a small group of a few dozen organizations globally, with software development methodologies cascade, more traditional and agile, with that classification.
