The technology lovers can learn more about the free software at an event dedicated to the theme in Petrolina, in Pernambuco. The Latino Festival of Free Software Installation American (FLISOL) will be held at the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences of Petrolina (FACAPE) on 16 and 17 April. The last time the festival took place in the city was in 2012.
For the event in Petrolina was invited the Regional Development Director for Brazil Linux Professional Institute (LPI), Cezar Brod. He will teach the lecture “Entrepreneurship and Employability with free software ‘on 16 April. Brod also will teach a short course for Linux certification exam on Sunday (17).
The lecture takes place in the auditorium of Library FACAPE, from 9am, and has free admission. But the short course will be in the computer lab, from 8am to 12pm and from 14pm to 18pm. Registration of the training is done online and has participation rate of R $ 20 for students, and R $ 40 for professionals.
It is also planned during the FLISOL in Petrolina the Install Fest, time free software installations on laptops and USB drives of stakeholders will be made on 16, in the auditorium of FACAPE, from 14h to 18h.
