The Latin American Festival Software Installation (FLISOL), most of Sofware Free dissemination of Latin America event occurs in Petrópolis in Serrana River Region, from Thursday (14) to Saturday (16). The event is based in Faeterj, located at Avenida Getúlio Vargas, 335 in Quitandinha, always from 9h to 22h. The proposal, according to organizers, is to show the public the ideology of the sofware and free media world, through projects, lectures and audiovisual.
The festival is held since 2005, and since 2008 its realization happens on the fourth Saturday of April each year. This year, due to holidays, Brazil does not hosting the event simultaneously to other countries. The main objective of the project is to promote the use of free software, showing his philosophy, scope, progress and development.
Various Free Software local communities organize events that installs, free and legal way, Software free on the computers of participants.
