ATA: Government authorizes spending on software up to 7 million – Pplware

According to the statement from the Council of Ministers of 14 May 2014, the Cabinet authorized the Tax and Customs Authority (ATA) to carry out expenditure on procurement of services for licensing and software maintenance for years 2015-2017.

The ATA thus now has 7 million euros (notably 6 998 million) for such charges.

After the announcement that the Home Office would invest 7.44 million in software for acquiring software licenses and respective technical assistance post sale, the board of Portuguese ministers yesterday approved several draft laws and also authorized the ATA to hold spending on the acquisition of services for licensing and software maintenance for the years 2015-2017, an amount of up to 7 million euros.

The document is not specified which type software but certainly part of the value will be for the licensing and maintenance of the portal which has evolved significantly in functional terms in recent years.
