Microsoft facial recognition software guess your age – IGN Portugal

During the Build 2015 conference held this week, Microsoft showed its face recognition service that tries to guess your age.

Joseph Sirosh, Microsoft, and presented the How-Old.net website effecting sending some images, including the Mona Lisa – to which the software assigns an age of 23 years. Sirosh invited all users to attend the conference to access the website and confer for yourself.

The purpose of this demonstration was to create a starting point for discussion of APIs and how Microsoft software can use the cloud to analyze vast amounts of information quickly and easily.

This way, we tried the website and even that worked in a very precise way. Photos with the face in the front position and get more precise results than with a steeper angle.

notquiteNa picture above can view our colleagues Mitch Dyer, Brian Altano, Vince Ingenito, Marty Sliva and Daemon Hatfield on the PAX East 2015 panel, Gamescoop!

The results are not very correct in fact, but if they put a picture with best angle works best.

And you? They have experienced? Test and make us know the results in the comments below.
