Microsoft may block hardware and software pirates – Digital Look

Microsoft has included a clause under Windows use indicating that the company can prevent users from using pirated software and hardware. The terms apply to services that need a registered account such as Xbox Live, Office 365, Skype, Outlook.com, onedrive, Bing and MSN.

The terms cover any software connected to an account Microsoft, which means that most users of the Windows 10 will be affected by the change. You can not install the system without register with a Microsoft account.

In the rules is still a clause explaining that the company reserves the right to block access to certain programs and request the update some tools . “We can automatically check your software version and ask to download updates or configuration changes, including those that prevent you from accessing services, fake games, or unauthorized hardware devices. You may also be required to update the software to continue to use the services. “

Microsoft also said it may change the terms at any time, but undertakes to notify users when there are changes.
