Software created by UFSCar student participates in MIT contest … – Globo.com

A project developed by a student at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) has been selected to participate in a global competition organized by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States. College or participating entrepreneurs will be challenged to start a campaign and present the project to the judges within one week. Carolina Morimoto and his partner, John Victor Chaves, both 20, seek funding and financial donations to make the trip, which takes place on Thursday (20).

The ‘Montain Wolves’ software, created the double over a period of four months, analyzes the data of new companies based on questions answered by the owners and business models, noting that the venture will be able to enter into force. The software can be used for any entrepreneur on the grounds that many of them want to own a business but can not due to lack of knowledge or maturity to enterprise level. “After we saw the potential of software, we decided that we would forego internationally as well. According Morimoto, the two friends have wanted to create something with the same purpose for some time, but never imagined that the creation of this project would expand to the Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.

The pair watched cases of students who wanted to become entrepreneurs, but did not have the help of the university. “We want to help people who want to have structures for ideas,” said the student.

Travel
The university João Vitor Chaves attend the Bootcamp representing the pair. Carolina also plans to travel to look for investors and assist in DemoDay, event in which each of the contestants present their work to the public one day before the competition.

In order to make the trip, the student is trying to gather the necessary money . As the expenses are high, the young man who has won the passage back and forth, still need somewhere to stay.
